Good Morning. We have a family owned business in Spring (77386) called Andy’s Cleaners. Andy’s is a free standing location designed and constructed in 2020 to serve the residents of our area with the finest in dry cleaning and laundering services. Our 5000 square building is 4k of shop and 1k of lobby and alterations. Over the last 5 years we have grown significantly and have a very high-end following in the Woodlands/Spring community.
A major issue from the design of our facility is the very high heat source that comes from our in-house, 50hp gas fired boiler and the 20 odd pieces of equipment that utilize and exhaust steam into our shop.
Our original HVAC design was 2 RTU’s with the smaller unit servicing the lobby while the larger one for the shop.
The sizing proved inadequate so we installed a 3rd unit. And still we are grossly inadequate.
So here we are desiring a comfortable shop for our employees and a high end lobby for customer comfort.
